Blaise, Azim and Christophe

One of the main things that draw’s me to Blaise Reuterswards work is the depth and tone used with in each photo, his ability to use distance and height to create a atmosphere and movement as a vital ingredient. By studding his work this is what I myself is trying to achieve. To remember that height and distance can create a atmosphere more stronger then a head shot of a pout. Lighting is essential in all his photos to create his depth and tone and this is something I must practice as it is not one of my strong points.
Blaise Reutersward was born in Stockholm, Reutersward lives and works in Paris. As a successful fashion photographer, he has traveled the world extensively and spent many hours in transit while in trains, planes and cars. These moments between hectic work assignments,
Frequent state of unrest and fast-paced energy has inspires Reutersward’s fine art photography. Be it nudes, depictions of endless horizons or an aerial view of Central Park, his compositions share a focus on meditative simplicity and subtle color nuances. Reutersward refers to his images as “atmospheres,” distinct environments, which through minimal abstraction are provided with an unusual sense of mystery.

Azim Haidaryan is my favourite photographer of all time. Each photo looks as if it has a huge story behind it, something that your could wonder about all day and still wake up with that image in your head. The lighting in every photo sets the mood and is always done to perfection like a hand painted painting. Azim Haidaryans photos in colour or black and white are always relevant to what he is trying to put across, even the models chosen for the shoot complete his ideas like a puzzle. Azim haidaryan is the photographer I could only dream to be.
Born in Afghanistan, Azim Haidaryan has been travelling between Europe and the USA since the age of 15.After a short time as an assistant photograper, he began a career as a photographer exploring many areas, from reportage to fashion.

Christophe Meimoon is a photographer I have only come across recently, one that will stick with me for a long time. I don’t think there is one photo of his I do not like. Each one is more exciting then the other and more curious. He plays on glamour and beauty to draw the viewer in. each photo is beautiful and striking. All his work is mainly studio based and story boarded before hand. You can tell there is a lot of work that goes into each photo and I admire this. This is why I story board my work so much to get results like his.
